As the clock struck midnight this past New Year’s Eve, you became older. All right, technically you’re always getting older. But when your birthday swings around in 2013, you’ll be some ungodly age you probably won't want to reveal. And do you feel like an adult yet? You know, a “grownup” with ultimate confidence, the ability to raise a child without completely messing it up, and the means to make your way in the world? Yikes.

Take heart. Some of us never really grow up. We're destined to remain ladygirls and menchildren for all eternity. It's kind of like the tale of Peter Pan, in which a young boy refuses to age and embraces childlike wonder in every new experience. So what exactly is a grownup? As the classic story comes to life onstage at Gammage Auditorium, 1200 East Forest Avenue in Tempe, this week, you’ll be reminded that there’s really no such thing.
