Diana Taurasi definitely needed a summer vacation. Before she jetted across the pond to London as a member of the U.S. women’s basketball team, the 30-year-old point guard was hurt, tired, and producing relatively zilch on the basketball court as team captain of the Phoenix Mercury.

Once she got to the Olympics, however, Taurasi turned things around, racking up both buckets and rebounds and helping her squad win its fifth-straight gold medal. Here’s hoping she saved some juice for the remainder of the WNBA season, as the Mercury (currently near the bottom of the standings) will need it if they hope to pull off the near-impossible and secure an unlikely playoff berth.

To do so Taurasi and company will need to win pretty much every game from here on out, starting with their battle against the top-ranked San Antonio Silver Stars.
