Besides Arizona being the land of towering cacti, it is also ¨C or at least, once was ¨C the land of the cowboy. At Hidden Meadow Ranch luxury cabin resort in the White Mountains guests can still capture a sense of that past with wildflower-filled meadows and horseback riding.

On Saturday, August 3 Scottsdale’s Cowboy Ciao restaurant will head up to the pines for a Cowboy Ciao-Down event. Guests can check in on Friday night for a meet-and-greet wine reception with chef Lester Gonzalez. Then on Saturday night the Hidden Meadow Ranch and Cowboy Ciao culinary teams will prepare a five-course dinner with two wines paired with every course ¨C a friendly culinary cowboy competition.

The throwdown will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 3 at Hidden Meadow Ranch, 620 County Road 1325 in Greer, and will cost $95 a person. For tickets, accommodations or more information call 928-333-1000 or visit www.hiddenmeadow.com.
