Which famous hero of the land sports a green tunic and a pointed cap? If you answered Robin Hood, your geek cred is shot.
On the other hand, if you’ve ever called a horse with a wind instrument, peed in a bottle during a 5-hour nonstop battle with Majora’s Wrath, or named your daughter after Link’s favorite princess (shout out to actor Robin Williams), you are clearly worthy of attending The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses at the Orpheum Theatre.
The production transforms the tinny tunes from popular Zelda video games including Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, and Link's Awakening into a lush orchestral symphony under the direction of Irish composer Eímear Noone. Projected visuals and dialogue from the award-winning franchise will please hardcore fans, while hopefully hooking noobs on the inaugural inductee into Spike’s Video Game Hall of Fame.
