American Way Market Cafe

American Way Market Café may be located inside a suburban antique mall in Chandler, but this is a full-fledged breakfast and lunch café serving excellent smokehouse sandwiches and flatbread pizzas made on baker Jared Allen’s Proof artisan bread, which is also made on-site. The spacious, airy café has a dining room steeped in nostalgia, the space featuring reclaimed wood and brick facades, and outfitted with vintage furniture and soda pop signage. Lunch menu highlights include the smoked turkey sandwich, made on thick-cut sourdough and layered with cheese and moist, flavorful slivers of turkey. The house pulled pork, served on a hefty brioche bun, is succulent and delicious. Flatbread pizzas are thick, doughy and substantial enough to make a meal. Lighter fare includes handcrafted salads and soups. The restaurant also carries an extensive selection of novelty soda pops.
