Located off Scottsdale Road south of Bell Road, CrackerJax Family Fun and Sports Park is like having a mini-theme park right in your own backyard. The year-round amusement part doesn't have roller-coasters or other big rides, but will certainly entertain the kids for a least a long afternoon – if not a whole day. The younger ones might want to check out smaller Jax Trax go-karts, or the bumper boats. There are also two miniature golf courses with one designed for kids and one of the adults. Grown ups might enjoy the full-sized karts or practicing their swing at either the batting cages or multi-level driving range. The best part is there isn't a set admission price for the park, so you can feel free to tag along and observe (or oversee) while the adventurous types play their day away.
