PURE Sushi

Why order sushi in a plain restaurant when you can hang out in an upbeat, ultra-sleek atmosphere? At PURE Sushi, the vibe is so happening that it puts us in the mood to hit the dance floor, which works out perfectly since it's a stone's throw away from the nightclubs and posh bars in north Scottsdale. The menu has a wide variety of nigiri sushi, rolls, and sashimi. Get everything from toro (tuna belly) and hamachi (yellowtail) to uni (sea urchin) and ika (squid). There are also familiar options like California rolls, caterpillar rolls, and soft shell crab rolls for less adventurus eaters. We're especially fond of the box sushi with delectable layers of tuna, salmon, crab mix and rice speckled with smelt eggs. It's great eye candy and goes well with the Japanese beers or signature cocktails, like the PURE Purple Haze made with Smirnoff blueberry vodka, Chambord, Nigori sake, and white cranberry.
