Tacos Kissi

Tacos Kissi is a bustling counter-service restaurant located in a west side strip mall that always seems to be jammed with cars. The parking hassles, though, are usually worth the trouble at Taco Kissi. The restaurant, as you can probably infer from its name, is a great destination for tacos, including a carne asada, al pastor, chicharrón, cabeza and shrimp. But it’s also offers a small menu of Mexican sushi rolls, featuring breaded and deep-fried rolls stuffed with meats, cheeses, and veggies. Favorites here include the Mar y Tierra, a turf-and- surf roll bulging with carne asada and shrimp. You’ll also find good renditions of Mexican tortas, tostadas, and a good Mexican-style shrimp cocktail. Wash it all down with one of the restaurant’s homemade aguas frescas.
