Hard rock/metal band 16 Second Stare just released a new record and are out on tour in support of it. The new album is way heavier than their debut, and the band promises to pack the punches live and in person. Guitarist and singer Angry Tim just got out of rehab, and drummer Chris Davis takes the reigns on lead vocals.

While their new record is scream-laden and in your face, their older material could better be classified as hard rock than metal. They still have big powerful guitars, but with discernible lyrics. Palatable for one who does not classify him/herself as a metal fan.

The band will hit up the Marquee Theatre on a solemn Easter Sunday night with Nonpoint, Cold, Day of Fire and Laconic.
