Today in news we can hardly even believe, we learned rapper 50 Cent will be heading to a grocery store in South Phoenix later this week to sign bottles of vodka.
Yes, that 50 Cent, as the best-selling rapper who rose to fame in the mid-2000s when he was trying to get rich or die trying.
Here's what you need to know: From 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, Fiddy (a.k.a. Curtis James Jackson III) will be signing bottles of Effen Vodka at the Fry's grocery store at 2250 E. Baseline Road in Phoenix. As you probably guessed, the rapper has an endorsement deal with the Dutch vodka brand.
Phoenix Suns dancers will also be there so you can party like it's your birthday.
Now, we're not sure how much 50 Cent's signature is worth these days, but we did find these signed, empty Effen bottles on sale on eBay for about $50. For comparison, the full bottles retail for about $35 on the BevMo website, so while you won't make millions reselling your signed bottles of booze, it could be a solid little side hustle for the week.
