Since we've thrown Art One a Best of Phoenix Award and we've written articles like these, it's really no secret that our editorial staff is totally rooting for Art One to pull through this recession.

And why wouldn't we? Owner Kraig Foote has an incredible eye for potential. And with his fair pricing ($150-$1500, even less when there's a sale), you don't have to be loaded to own a piece of fantastic original art.

Which, by the way, makes a wonderful holiday gift. So if you're scrambling for ideas and you're strapped for time, you have today and tomorrow to head to Art One and pull it together.

Art One has reasonable prices because they work with student artists and individuals who are starting their art careers. But that doesn't mean you have to sift through a bunch of awful paintings to find something good. Owner Kraig Foote only represents artists that have he deems ready. And with fifteen years of running this successful gallery under his belt, he's developed a keen eye.

With almost fifty featured artists at Art One, the selection will surely fulfill your gift-giving needs. Actually, you could probably knock out a handful of people on your list with just one stop there. And they even have gift certificates.

Dude!

Art One will be open today until 5:30 p.m. and tomorrow, December 24th from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at 4120 N. Marshall Way in Scottsdale, 480-946-5076, www.artonegalleryinc.com.
