Riddle me this: Which award-winning, NYC-based turntablist has created best-selling dance mixes for MTV and Tommy Boy records, and remixed the likes of such superstars as Dido, Christina Aguilera, and Janet Jackson? The answer to the oh-so-easy brain teaser: DJ Riddler. Besides a gig at Gotham's dance station WKTU (alongside guest DJs like Paul Oakenfold and DJ Skribble), Riddler — a.k.a. Rich Pangilinan — has been dropping the needle at nightspots and events nationwide, including Blur, a massive rave-style party going down on Saturday, September 30, at the usual unspecified location somewhere within the Valley landscape. The rest of the packed lineup includes members of the Vinyl Tech DJs, such as Steve Edwards, Tranzit, Yogi, and Soloman, as well as locals N3m3sis, Amnesia, Phox, and others. The doors open at 9 p.m., and tickets cost $10 presale, $15 before 10:30 p.m., and $20 afterward. Call 602-793-4408 the night of event for the location.
