When it comes to breakbeats, there's no bigger fan of the EDM genre than DJ Louder. In fact, the 31-year-old spent most of the past decade sharing his love for pounding syncopated, polyrhythmic tracks at clubs and raves around the Valley, much as he'll do this weekend during the Breakbeat Boutique at Axis/Radius, 7340 East Indian Plaza Lane in Scottsdale. Louder will team up with Denver's DJ DMX (not to be confused with the embattled hip-hop star who spent a few months in Tent City as a guest of Sheriff Joe) and A/R regulars Tranzit and Soloman on Friday, September 4, for a night of freshly broken beats. Doors open at 9 p.m. and admission is $7. Call 480-970-1112 or visit www.axis-radius.com.
