Woah. Slideshow.
Planning our nights out isn't always a smooth ride. Especially when we start boozing. So, in a slightly inebriated state, we weren't as Johnny-on-the-spot when it came to our original plan, Friday's Dear and the Headlights CD-release party. Being the party animals we are, we decided midnight would be the time to roll in. We don't know if they're catering to a middle-aged crowd or what, but by 12:30, the parking lot was dead and band equipment was getting loaded into the van. Shit.
So on to plan B, which happened to be one of the biggest parties of the weekend — our very own Best of Phoenix A'Fare at the Venue of Scottsdale. Truly, this was one of the most attractive bunch of folks we've ever shot. With an open bar, carnival acts, and vaudevillian dancers on stage, we'd be goddamned if we weren't treated to a show. Not to mention the crowd, which was the real freak show. Old ladies dancing in gold pants, leopard print suits, and a hot young couple making out in front of a crowd of friends were just a few of the hedonistic delights we were treated to at this year's fete.
