Scottsdale is a weird place during the day. Dance music blasts from the bars that are open early, and the daylight reveals salons and small shops that could easily be overlooked at night. Walking down 75th street, it almost resembles some hip borough in a beach town, with the lack of a cool ocean breeze being a notable exception.

Upon walking into Spanish Fly, it's easy to forget you're still in Old Town Scottsdale. The posh bar looks like it would fit right in somewhere in Las Vegas thanks to its beach décor and swanky pool.

Ladies went commando for GI Joes & Army Hoes, a military themed fete on Sunday, July 8. Couples nuzzled under the waterfall while some gals had water fights in the pool. Australian DJ Jen Jones kept the party going until the sun went down with some electro beats.

You may want to keep the party shenangians on a "don't ask, don't tell" basis, but we captured the fun in this week's Club Candids slideshow.
