Ah, St. Patrick's Day. It's one of the few days where getting drunk and trying to kiss people is not just acceptable, it's encouraged.
We actually did not see much kissing going on at Seamus McCaffrey's on St. Patrick's Day. There were lots of people dancing or sipping on Guinness, and others that were brave enough to try and do both at the same time.
Seamus was packed with folks showing their Irish pride--we saw lots of Irish cross tattoos. Others sported a variety of green clothing and novelty hats. There weren't as many kilts as expected, but we did raise our glasses to the ones we saw.
Between rounds of corned beef and beer, Tartanic played a four-hour Celtic set that really got the crowd moving. The band ended up playing fan favorites like "Amazing Grace," "Danny Boy," and "Fields of Athenry" in exchange for shots of whiskey.
We braved the Seamus McCaffrey's crowd on St. Patrick's Day to capture lots of fun and flirty folks living it up. Check it out in this week's Club Candids slideshow.
