With local colleges back in session, the summertime drawing to a close, and the Super Bowl (and all its related parties, concerts, and galas) on the horizon, Scottsdale's entertainment district is busy gearing up for big crowds and good times ahead.
In the last several months, clubs both remodeled and reborn have debuted while a few other nightlife-oriented new arrivals (like Livewire or Virtue & Vice) are currently under construction and should open before year's end. Here's another: BLUR Nightclub.

What once was Smashboxx, the Indian Plaza danceteria that closed back in May, will soon become the swank after-dark spot known as BLUR. And like most Scottsdale clubs about to make a grand entrance, its got swagger to spare.
Per a few social media blasts that were sent out last night on its Twitter and Instagram accounts, the new nightclub is touted as a place to "expect the unexpected."

No further details (or marketing slogans, for that matter) are provided, save for the fact it will open sometime in the fall, which will be just in time for holiday parties, the always raucous New Year's Eve, and (or course) Super Bowl XLIX in February.
If nothing else, BLUR most assuredly has quite the fitting name for Scottsdale, given the usual hurly-burly of a nightclub and the after-effects of all the spirits that are consumed therein.
