Are you willing to cram into a smallish watering hole to watch notorious country crooner David Allan Coe offend and enthrall? Let's hope so, as Coe has rescheduled his recently canceled gig for Sunday, September 13, for Last Exit Bar & Grill in Tempe. Local roots-rockers hashKnife Outfit and Chip Hanna will open the show, which starts at 7 p.m.

It's probably one the biggest shows the Last Exit has ever had, and its owner Jack Maverik is expecting the event to sell out. Coe's original show last Thursday at Venue of Scottsdale was cancelled because of contract issues between the artist's management and the venue. The show was then reportedlymoving to the Last Exit, but Maverick had some SNAFUs of his own with contract issues and the gig fell through.

Maverik says everything's been ironed out and the show is most definitely on. Tickets are $32.50 and are currently available at the bar. Call 480-966-2366.
