I walked past one of his outdoor shows in Florida about two weeks ago and I have to say, he's still got it goin' on.

We know that a lot of you ladies, and even some fellas, are eagerly awaiting Rick's arrival this weekend. We also know he will always hold the key to your heart, which is why we've come up with five reasons why you love Rick Springfield.

Rick is scheduled to perform Friday, November 18 at Ovations Live! Showroom at Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino.

Just look at that face

Sure, he looks like he's definitely had a little work done, but he still rocks that "I may be old but I still have the face of a twenty-five year old stud" look pretty well.

His music is what got you through puberty

Actually that's kind of sad, and I feel bad for anyone who grew up listening to Springfield during their pubertizing years. Really, how much consolation could his music be when your boyfriend of two hours breaks up with you under the bleachers?

He was your favorite actor on General Hospital and Californication (and he knew it)

Let's be real, any chick that enjoyed watching General Hospital was probably head over heels for Dr. Noah Drake.

He got arrested for a DUI in May

While that's not so much a reason to love him, it does prove that he's still partying hard at the ripe old age of 62, and that's somewhat impressive.

Girl Talk taught us something interesting about him

We learn in Girl Talk's mashup "Here's the Thing" on his album Feed the Animals that Rick wished that he had Jessie's girl, but he'd "rather get some head." Brilliant work, Girl Talk.

For some sweet reminiscing, rock out to "Jessie's Girl," which is one of his only songs we actually care about.
