Hoodlums Music is celebrating it's first anniversary at it's new location with events spread over the next few weeks. The super-cool Tempe store burnt down along with Arizona State's old Memorial Union and took a hiatus before re-opening between Changing Hands bookstore and Trader Joe's on McClintock south of Guadalupe.

Here's what they have planned to celebrate, starting tonight with a screening of a Beatles documentary and continuing with an art show by Mike Maas who designed the store's original logo. All events are free.

The Complete Beatles

Thursday, September 17th, 8PM

This great documentary has never been on DVD, so we are hooking up the ol' VHS and giving our friends and customers a chance to see it. It's a wonderful film, and it covers a lot of important ground in two hours.

September's film is no different. Let's face it; it doesn't get much more controversial than talking about religion... and Bill Maher asks some tough questions to all the religions in this one.
