Earlier today, we brought you a Q&A from sisters Alexia and Anissa Rodriguez of Eyes Set to Kill, who are nominated for a Revolver Magazine Golden Gods Award for "Hottest Chick(s) in Metal."

Okay, so we were hoping they'd say something to start a cat fight. Alas, the girls chose to take the high road and be diplomatic. That doesn't mean we have to do the same.

Let's take a closer look at the other nominees and see who our hometown heroines are going up against.

Pearl Aday (Pearl): Any metal cred Pearl might have earned by being married to Anthrax's Scott Ian is negated by the fact that her dad is Meat Loaf. Plus, her music is kinda sorta hard rockish, but not metal. Plus, she's just not that pretty. Final verdict -- DQ'd for not being hot or metal.

Maria Brink (In This Moment): This is probably a matter of taste. There are definitely some guys who go for the whole "tatted-up, slutty blond wearing a little girl's dress" look, but I ain't one of those guys. Final verdict -- A little too Courtney Love-ish for my taste.

Lzzy Hale (Halestorm): She's kinda cute in that regular girl sort of way. Like, if you saw her in the crowd at a metal show, you'd probably think she was pretty foxy. But "Hottest Chick in Metal"? That's a stretch. Final verdict -- Definitely cute, but not out-and-out hot.

Lacey Mosely (Flyleaf): Do a Google image search for her, and the results will run the gamut. Sometimes she looks like she could pass for an Olsen twin. Other times, well, not so much. While her image might not be consistent, her music definitely is. It's consistently not metal. Final verdict -- DQ'd for not being metal.

Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil): I've got to admit, it's hard to come up with something snarky to say here. Cristina is definitely hot, whether she's all gussied up for a Revolver shoot or just sporting a simple long-sleeved T. But here's the dealbreaker -- does she have an equally hot sister? Final verdict -- Definitely hot, but there's only one of her.

So there you have it. It seems like a pretty clear choice. Click here to vote, if you haven't already.
