It's easy to miss being a college student when shows like Arizona State University's Devilpalooza go down on campus this Friday, February 19. Thankfully for graduates and drop-outs alike, the event is free to the public, so you can make like a sorority sister, too, as bands such as Story of the Year perform. And, if you sign up for our weekly music newsletter, you have a chance to meet the band before the show. Find more info here

This is one of the first performances since the rock band released its new album, The Constant, this week.

The all-day event, which begins at 2 p.m. at ASU's Student Recreation Complex, includes not only music by bands Story of the Year, Thrice and Dear and the Headlights, but also an extreme-sports extravaganza. The campus is bringing in more than 20 tons of snow, on which snowboarders and skiers will show off their stuff.

In addition, a slew of skateboarders and bikers will also ride around on ramps. With the absence of the Tempe Music Festival this spring, this might be your best chance to see challenging sports combined with rock music in the Valley. For more info, check out http://devilpalooza.asu.edu/.
