Just 22, the UK-born singer had a monster 2014. Following the success of Icona Pop's "I Love It," which Charli XCX wrote and sang on, Charli had a chunk of two of the year's biggest songs, singing the catchiest part of Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" and releasing her wildly successful solo track, "Boom Clap," which eventually appeared on her third studio album, Sucker, which came out in October. Then, pop's reigning starlet and halftime performer, Katy Perry, nabbed Charli to open for her on her tour.
We even have our own localized evidence of just how hot she is. In October, Charli XCX sold out Crescent Ballroom. Tickets were $20. Now, just three months later, she's playing two Super Bowl parties, and the common folk can't even sniff a ticket to the invite-only events.

The two parties are Rolling Stone's party on Saturday, January 31, where Charli will perform with Steven Tyler, and the ESPN party at Westworld on Friday, January 30, which she will co-headline with J. Cole. Tickets for both events start around $900. She's also playing VH1's Super Bowl party on that Friday, at the air force base.
That's a remarkable jump for someone who played for 500, 600 people just a few months ago. If you missed her Crescent performance, good luck trying to get into something next weekend.
