It's been a helluva two weeks for the local metal-playing Ned Flanders aficionados in Okilly Dokilly. It's not too often a band goes viral in the way it has. What started as a joke in line at the grocery store has grown into a worldwide point of interest, and now the band has announced plans for Springfield Elementary School Carnival, a.k.a. the band's upcoming concert at Trunk Space.

In addition to "neighborinos" Man-Cat, Hug of War, and Andy Warpigs, who also will be playing, there's going to be a costume contest, "Pin Pals Bowling," caricatures drawn in the Simpsons style, psychic fortune tellers, and a trivia contest.

The fun costs $5 and will go down at Trunk Space on Saturday, September 5. And just how viral has the band gone so far? In just three weeks, the band has amassed more than 28,000 followers on Facebook, been streamed thousands of times on Bandcamp, gone to the top of Reddit, and accumulated hundreds of thousands of listens on Youtube.
