If there's one thing that Scottsdale is known for - other than high-style everything - is the sheer number of celebrities that visit the city every year. And during Super Bowl week later this month, that number will increase tenfold as hordes of the rich and famous (including many high-profile DJs, musicians, and recording artists), will be all up in Scottsdale to either party for several nights to party, perform, or both.

That includes country music kings Florida Georgia Line and hip-hop stars Nelly and Lil Jon, all of who will be doing plenty of partying and performing when they headline the Madden Bowl XXI block party on Thursday, January 29, at Livewire and Bottled Blonde in Scottsdale.

The event, which was announced earlier today via Super Bowl party website Super Sunday HQ, will reportedly be a massive indoor/outdoor affair encompassing the neighboring Indian Plaza venues and including live gigs, DJ sessions, and (of course) an enormous one-night tournament involving the quintessential football video game featuring celebrities as competitors.

According to Super Sunday HQ, live performances by Florida Georgia Line and Nelly, as well as a set by Lil Jon both as a DJ and rapper, will take place inside on Livewire's stage. A pair of outdoor stages will host tournament game-playing and a special "surprise guest" performer that will also appear. A number of VIP tents and beer gardens will also be part of the block party, which will stretch out into Indian Plaza and will be one of a host of blockbuster nightlife events that the city's entertainment district will be hosting.

The Madden Bowl, a hallmark of Super Bowl week, is one of two big gigs for Nelly and Florida Georgia Line that weekend, as the rap superstar will also be hanging out with Playmates while hosting the decadent Playboy party at the W Scottsdale Hotel on Friday, January 30. (No word on if he'll be stomping around in Air Force Ones.) Meanwhile, the country duo will be a part of CBS Radio's "The Night Before" concert at Talking Stick Resort Arena on Saturday, January 31.

However, if you're expecting to get your thumbs on some tickets and on a controller during intense games of Madden against a celebrity opponent, you might wind up disappointed, since the party is largely an invite-only for VIPs. Bummer.
