You've got to wait until the new year to buy the new Strokes record, First Impressions of Earth, in stores, but this Thursday, December 29, if you're truly a Casablancas and Co. fanatic, you'll want to be down at the latest installment of Panic! at Anderson's Fifth Estate in Scottsdale, where you'll be able to win a copy a whole five days ahead of its release! The Strokes giveaway, as well as other swag you can come upon, will be decided by some wild-ass games of bingo, so you might want to bring your grandma along. As usual, DJ Manchester will be spinning that crazy Britpop/New Wave/indie stuff that the kids seem so wild for these days. Admission is just five bucks, with drink specials throughout the night.
