Folk master Paul Simon has just released details about his upcoming album, according to Consequence of Sound.

So Beautiful Or So What will be a 10-track LP, and it's scheduled to be released on April 12.

Simon has put out a music video for the first track, entitled "Getting Ready For Christmas Day." It's a little odd that he's releasing a song about winter in April, but why the hell not make a track that sounds a little like the Steve Miller Band Christmas song this time of the year.

Stereogum has also made another track called "The Afterlife" available for streaming. Stereogum is right: the guitar on this track definitely resembles that of Vampire Weekend.

Both songs have got that classic Paul Simon sound. They're a little poppy, they're very catchy, and they tell a nice story.
