Full disclosure: Belfast-based singer-songwriter Rachel Austin is the daughter of one of my former co-workers and she once let me and one of my buddies crash at her "flat" (this is what sophisticated European travelers call apartment homes) while visiting Northern Ireland.

However, that's not why I'm posting this charming video by the Virginia native, who moved to Belfast shortly after reaching the age of majority. The colors, scenery and clothing looks like something I may have dreamed as a child captured on Betamax. If you grew up in the 80s, you'll surely see it the same way. The song is really great, too.
