When you put your key in the ignition and turn on the radio, what station would play right now? I bounce around between the cable channels and ESPN because I'm a big sports fan.

What's the first album you bought? All I could afford were 45s when I was a kid. And my first one was The Beatles' "She Loves You." First album that really sticks out to me was Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John.

What's the first concert you saw? I saw both Stevie Wonder and Elton John in my high school days. I think Stevie was first. They were both huge in the '70s. Huge.

What's your favorite concert you've ever been to? Paul McCartney in Glendale three years ago. Anybody else remember when he played "Lady Madonna"?

What's the last song played on your music player? Coldplay's "Warning Sign."

Preferred format: CD, vinyl, cassette, 8-track, or digital? Digital. I can usually get the grocery shopping done in 10 songs. What's your favorite album? James Taylor's October Road.

Who is your favorite singer or band? Depends on the decade. '70s: Led Zeppelin. '80s: Jude Cole. '90s: Garth Brooks. Now: Snow Patrol.

What band do you wish was still together? Not even close: Led Zeppelin. Does your computer track how many times you've played something -- if so, what's at the top of the list? I just checked -- it's a song called "Gabriel's Oboe," by Ennio Morricone. It's the most beautiful classical song I've ever heard.

What's your favorite album? Guy named Andy Burrows. It's called Company.

What one song would you play if you had a worldwide radio audience? "In My Life," The Beatles. I go to a lot of schools, and it's surprising how many kids don't really know anything about The Beatles.

Who is your favorite local artist? His name is Guy Pennachio. Works out at my gym. No one, and I mean no one, does a better Sinatra. I'm amazed there isn't a restaurant that's made him their regular entertainer yet.

What is your favorite local venue to see music? Mesa Arts Center. Ikeda Theater.

What is your favorite music video? "Sledgehammer," Peter Gabriel. Claymation and dancing chickens? Top that!
