Authority Zero lead singer Jason DeVore will celebrate the debut CD release of The Bollox, his Irish punk-rock side project, with two St. Patrick's Day performances on Tuesday, March 17.

The band will play two sets - at 2:30 p.m. and at 4 p.m. - at Mesa's The Tilted Kilt for this free show and then later that night at downtown Scottsdale's Martini Ranch for a 21-and-older performance. The band will have their CD available at both gigs.

In addition to Devore, the band features Dublin native and singer Keith Walker, bassist Jason "Saddy" Combs, drummer Brad Park (who played in the local punk-rock outfit Two Dimes) and electric guitarist Greg McLarty.

I've always been an Authority Zero fan and I'm digging this bouncy Celtic-vibe that The Bollox bring to the 480. Get a taste on their MySpace page and let us know what you think.
