The DJ/producer duo of Adolfo "Dolphz" Salazar and Logic Ali, better known as TrapZillas, has an absolute monster of a weekend planned. The pimped-out trap specialists — who hail from Phoenix and L.A., respectively — will spend the night of Friday, April 12, pulling off back-to-back gigs at two EDM events on opposite sides of the Valley. TrapZillas will start things at Urban Heat, 1749 West Main Street in Mesa, dropping trap and hip-hop at a special edition of the joint's Digital Theory night. Other sets throughout the evening include tag-team sessions offering such genres as bass, breaks, and dubstep featuring such pairings as DFT and Mozrt, as well as Hardknockz and The Gaffler. The event starts at 9 p.m. Admission is free. Call 480-464-4721. Dolphz and Logic then will motor over to Bar Smith, 130 East Washington Street, to headline this week's Foul Play alongside the night's residents as Prince $$, Bigie Meanmugg, J. Paul, and DJ Akshen. Doors open at 9 p.m. Cover is $10. Call 602-229-1265. — Benjamin Leatherman
