We're thinking there probably won't be too many presents waiting under the Christmas trees of the members of Vayden. It's not because the Tempe/L.A. alt-rock foursome (whose members split time betwixt the two cities) has been particularly naughty, per se, but rather because Santa already has been handing them plenty of gifts throughout the year already. Not only have the jocks over at 98 KUPD shown the band some love (by giving their single "The One You Left Behind" a few spins), they also got to tour Europe over the summer. But instead of selfishly enjoying their good fortune, Vayden has some more magnanimous plans for their gig at this weekend's X-Mas Party at the Marquee. Fans can get into the show (which also features performances by Westcott Ave, Burnin Phoenix, Pinner, and Red Republic) for only $10 by bringing along a new, unwrapped toy for charity. Just make sure it's a kick-ass plaything (we're thinking Transformers or Zhu Zhu Hamsters) instead of something purchased at Family Dollar.
