It's nice to have a little diversity on the Vans Warped Tour, the summer punk rock festival that's notorious for its multitude of sweaty, shirtless guys running around on-stage.

This year, following in the footsteps of powerful female singers Katy Perry, Charlotte Sometimes and Hayley Williams of Paramore, a few other female-fronted bands take the stage, including Hey Monday and newbies We Are the In Crowd.

The name of the latter band is fitting, considering the group only formed last year and have already signed to Hopeless Records. Their new EP, Guaranteed to Disagree, comes out next Tuesday, June 8, and they're playing Phoenix's Cricket Wireless Pavilion on Warped Tuesday, June 29 along with locals Anarbor.

If you're a fan of Paramore or Hey Monday, there's a great chance you'll love We Are The In Crowd's seven-track EP. Singer Tay Jardine's vocals would fit right in with Williams' or Hey Monday's Cassadee Pope's, and the melodies are catchy power pop anthems. What sets them apart a little is that Jardine shares singing duties with vocalist/guitarist Jordan Eckes, which makes for a nice dynamic, and their voices would probably sound great together on a ballad, which is missing from the EP.

For those who preorder the disc off the band's website, www.wearetheincrowd.com, $15 scores you a package that includes a poster and a wristband, so people will know who you're supporting when you're pumping your fist in 100-plus degree heat.
