This week's music feature is on X Japan's breakthrough into the American music scene. They recently performed in the U.S. for the very first time and made their debut at Lollapalooza. The Japanese metal super group has grown to have an impressive cult-like following, and seems to be the first Japanese band to actually be on their way to true success in the States.

It doesn't seem like there's any chance of Hayley Williams leaving Paramore since the band's got it made. And what has Hanson been up to since their boy band days? It turns out that they've actually been keeping themselves rather busy with their own record label.

Plus we've got show previews for Dead Confederate, Autolux, Sea Wolf, Mike Posner, and Michael Bolton.
