Robbing a Circle K -- how unoriginal. The alleged bandit in this photo waltzed into the store at 1262 West Chandler Boulevard, waving his gun around and demanding cash, Chandler cops say.

This was just after midnight on Sunday, August 16. The Chandler police apparently like to wait till this kind of crime is as stale as a week-old tortilla before releasing details to the public. After cleaning out the cash register, the suspect dove into a "mid-size, white passenger car," a news release states. Cops ask anyone with information on the crime to call (480) 782-4130.
