Arizona Cardinals quarterback Derek Anderson made a public apology yesterday for the highly publicized tirade he went on following his atrocious performance on Monday Night Football this week.
In case you missed it, Anderson flipped out on Arizona Republic sports writer Kent Somers following his latest awful showing on the gridiron. Somers asked DA why he was seen laughing as the team was down 18 points in the fourth quarter. Anderson went nuts.

"Good morning. Let's try this in a manner that doesn't end up all over YouTube. I'd like to apologize for my actions after the game. There's a more professional manner I could have handled that. I wasn't raised that way. My mom and my dad didn't raise me to act like that in times of diversity (we'll go ahead and assume he meant adversity). I obviously was very frustrated by what happened during the game, and I let the emotions get the best of me."
Sorry, DA, the tirade is the least of the things for which you should be apologizing -- where's the apology to fans for playing like complete and utter shit every single week?

Since Anderson's been with the Cards, he's earned a QB rating of 68.2 -- which sucks. He's thrown seven touchdown passes (which also sucks), and has thrown nine interceptions (which really sucks).
Anderson's achieved what was once thought impossible: he's made many Cardinals fans miss Matt Leinart.
