Domestic Violence Suspect Fatally Shot by Phoenix Cops

Phoenix police shot and killed a suspect in a domestic violence dispute in south Phoenix this afternoon.According to police, the mother of the suspect called 9-1-1 around noon today to report an argument between she and her son at their trailer home near Baseline Road and Central Avenue.Two officers responded...

Phoenix police shot and killed a suspect in a domestic violence dispute in south Phoenix this afternoon.

According to police, the mother of the suspect called 9-1-1 around noon today to report an argument between she and her son at their trailer home near Baseline Road and Central Avenue.

Two officers responded to the call and one of them ended up shooting the unidentified son.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.




Cops are piecing together the shooting to try and determine what threat the suspect posed to the officers.

Neither of the officers were injured in the incident and both have been placed on paid administrative leave until detectives conduct an investigation.
