Sixteen suspected illegal immigrants were arrested Wednesday night at a west Phoenix house.  Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio says the suspects were all found to have entered the U.S. illegally...A Tucson mother of three was arrested after police officers discovered 1100 pounds of pot in her home. Officers were alerted to the residence after following an individual with a scope on a bicycle that turned out to be a "lookout"...Phoenix Mercury guard Diana Taurasi received a DUI citation early Thursday morning. According to Phoenix police, she was pulled over around 2:30 a.m. near Seventh Avenue and Camelback Road for speeding and lane violations, and refused a breath test. Her blood was drawn in a mobile DUI van, and she was cited and released...Three men have been arrested in connection with a cockfighting ring in Harquahala Valley. The men, Jose Martinez, Hector Rivera, and Eriberto Cuellar, were found with several dead roosters at their residence and admitted to owning the roosters and fighting them for profit...Last month, Phoenix resident Jeremiah Banister saw a car on fire on the I-17, with the driver trapped inside. Banister hit the vehicle four times to help get it off the road and retrieve the driver. He's being hailed as a hero...The Amsterdam city council is trying to help prostitutes in the Red Light District get credit from local banks. The negotiations with local banks are part of "Project 2012," which will also restrict prostitution to a few tightly controlled areas.
