Governor Jan Brewer's being considered for TIME magazine's list of the world's 100 most influential people, and according to its reader poll, she's doing better than President Obama.
The governor dropped from 13th place to 15th by the end of the day yesterday -- leaving her one spot above Stephen Colbert -- although the world's most famous finger-wagger needs to place first to guarantee a sport on the "100" list.
Brewer's ahead of President Obama (and the First Lady), Tim Tebow, Oprah, and about 180 other people, although some of the 14 people ahead of her are ahead by far.
Brewer's claim to fame, at least according to TIME, is just general disdain for the federal government:

Occupation: Arizona governor
Under the leadership of Republican Brewer, Arizona has faced off with the federal government like no other state in recent memory. Amid accusations that the Obama Administration failed to protect Arizona from illegal immigration, Brewer championed a strict legislative crackdown that the Administration will challenge this year in the Supreme Court. Brewer has criticized President Obama for blocking uranium mining near the Grand Canyon and was photographed having an intense exchange with Obama on the tarmac at Phoenix's airport in January.
Apparently the bar isn't set extremely high for making this list, as Justin Bieber, Sting, and Michele Bachmann made last year's edition.
Still, is Brewer among the "leaders, artists, innovators, icons and heroes" who deserve a spot in TIME's list?
