Wearing a G-string in public as an 82-year-old man might not be a crime, but showing off what's under that G-string to a 14-year-old girl sure is.

That's what the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is saying Fountain Hills resident John Phillips did on Monday, while he was hanging out near the Salt River.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the 14-year-old girl was near the river when she told her mother that an "old man" in a G-string swimsuit had just flashed his penis at her.

Deputies responded to the Phon D Sutton campground near the river, and probably didn't have a whole lot of suspects to choose from.

Phillips -- a product of the Roaring Twenties -- was arrested at the campground. He faces two counts of public sexual indecency.

We're checking with the Sheriff's Office on the details, so we'll report back if there's any extra info.

Phillips doesn't appear to have a criminal record in Arizona, according to court records.
