A Pima County judge sentenced a Marana man to 17-years in prison yesterday for molesting three boys more than 10 years ago.

According to court records, authorities opened the case in 2006, after the three brothers told their guardian that Arnold L. Geib, 73, molested them on multiple occasions when they were kids, between 1996 and 1998. One brother was only five years old when Geib first started molesting him. Another brother is mentally disabled.

Nor is this the first time Geib has been caught molesting kids. According to the Arizona Republic, he was arrested in Pima County for kidnapping and molestation in 1982, but pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of child fondling. He also failed to register as a sex offender in California in 1989.

Geib was indicted in December, 2006, pleaded guilty to child molestation and attempted sexual assault on Tuesday. He was promptly sentenced to 17 years in prison.
