If you're going to stand on your driveway with your buddies and talk about the felonies you've committed, you may want to keep your voice down.
That's advice that 29-year-old Mesa resident Michael Taylor could have used, as he was speaking so loudly about THE STOLEN CAR IN HIS DRIVEWAY that someone in the neighborhood called police, according to court documents obtained by New Times.
Police arrived and, indeed, found a stolen car in the driveway of the home, near Main Street and Val Vista Drive, according to the documents.
Taylor told police that he didn't steal the car, but he knew it was stolen and had been driving it around for about a week, the documents state.
Taylor managed to shut up after officers at the city jail found a bag of meth in his sock, as court documents state he offered "no comment" after being confronted with the meth.
He was booked into the jail on charges of dangerous-drug possession, and FELONY TRANSPORTATION THEFT.
