You may be familiar with Dr. Michael Brown, the founder of the Brown Hand Center. He's the Houston-based doctor who runs that god-awful ad here in Phoenix featuring him, his way-too-hot-for-him wife, and his five kids. The ad ends with his young daughter saying "daddy's baby girl." It's adorable, but makes us want to puke at the same time.

Brown's major selling point in the ad is that he personally trains all the doctors at the Brown Hand Center. He tells viewers "the Brown Hand Center will care for you, just as I care for my own family."
Unless you want to get your arm twisted behind your back, beat with a bed post, and possibly do some cocaine, we'd recommend you take your hand-surgery needs elsewhere, because that's apparently the kind of "care" that's been goin' on at the Brown household.
Brown was arrested Tuesday in Houston, Texas, on suspicion of assaulting his fourth wife (the woman who appears with him in the ad) by twisting her arm behind her back, according to court records obtained by the Houston Chronicle.
This isn't Brown's first brush with the law -- in 2002 he was arrested for beating his then-pregnant wife, Darlina Brown, with a bed post. He was sentenced to 10 years probation and fined $1,500.
Brown was no longer on probation at the time of the assault because he completed a deferred adjudication, a type of probation, which means the assault won't show up on his criminal record.
Brown apparently likes cocaine, too. He had his medical license revoked in 2006 after testing positive for cocaine use.
If convicted, Brown faces anything from probation to 10 years in prison.
