For the first time since 1948, back when the team was the Chicago Cardinals, the nomadic franchise has managed to win five games on the road after its 21-13 victory over the Rams yesterday in St. Louis.
The Cardinals (7-3), despite a fumble by running back Beanie Wells on the third play of the game, stomped the Rams in the first half. The second half -- not so much.
After an impressive first half, Kurt Warner suffered what is believed to be a concussion that knocked him out of the game, and we all know what that means -- Matt Leinart.
Leinart's entrance into the game forced the Cardinals to stray from the team's successful passing game and stick to a "Matt-just-don't-screw-this-up" ground assault that netted zero points.

Anquan Boldin was first to strike with a 5-yard catch in the end zone putting the Cardinals up 7-3 at the end of the first quarter.
Boldin's bitching was at a minimum this week, as he had eight catches for 103 yards, most of which came in the first half.
The Redbirds went on to score 14 more points in the first half as the result of an 11-yard Larry Fitzgerald touchdown pass and a one-yard gut-busting Beanie Wells touchdown run.
Beanie is like a wrecking ball, and anyone in his path is advised to just get out of the effen way.

Luckily, with a few ticks left on the clock, the Rams managed to self-destruct with a Marc Bulger fumble, and the Cards eeked out a win.
The Cards take the show on the road again next weekend when they head to Nashville to take on the 3-6 Tennessee Titans.
