MCSO polices Youngtown, a tiny community that's nestled between Sun City and El Mirage in the West Valley.
The identities of the victim's haven't been released, and the Sheriff's Office hasn't yet identified the shooter.
The description of the suspect is pretty generic: Hispanic man, 6-foot, 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
He did take off in the victims' vehicle, a 2000 or 2001 white Ford Ranger, license plate AVD7051.
Back in Phoenix, police are still searching for 24-year-old Hector Taner Karaca, the man accused of killing two people at a Phoenix home Monday night.
UPDATE 4:27 p.m.: The MCSO has a suspect, 39-year-old Jose Guadalupe Sotelo, but he hasn't been found at the time of this post.
Lieutenant Brandon Jones says detectives believe the murders, of a man and woman, are believed to be a result of some sort of domestic-violence situation.
UPDATE October 26, 10:12 a.m.: Deputies tracked down Sotelo to a parking garage at the Thunderbird Hospital in Glendale last night, where Sotelo committed suicide, Jones says.
When deputies approached him on the top floor of the garage, Sotelo "raised a weapon to his head and shot himself," Jones says in an e-mail.
"It is not known at this time how or why he chose this location and at this time the stolen vehicle has not been recovered," he adds.
Jones added that there was a third person at the Youngtown home where Stoleo is believed to have killed the two people, but he left that person uninjured.
Both of the victims have now been identified: 33-year-old Shawntah Eierdam, and 41-year-old Adam Manns.
