Maybe you were feeling adventurous one day and decided to invest in a pressure cooker. You dreamed of cooking faster and making meat so tender it just falls off the bone. Then you remembered one misstep with that innocent-looking kitchen tool could demolish your whole house. Well, you can overcome that fear and learn how to whip up a perfectly pressure cooked Easter dinner this Tuesday at Jewel's Bakery and Cafe. Chef Brad will lead the class, which runs from 6 to 8 p.m., and will teach a few easy recipe ideas. The clas costs $40 and spots can be reserved by calling 602-714-5243.

Pink Pony Now through April 1

Spring training season is upon us now and in honor of the occasion, Scottsdale's oldest restaurant is offering a few special eats and drinks. The Piny Pony, a classic destination for baseball fans, has a Golden Gate Sazerac ($11) right now that features St. George Whiskey and Absinthe Verte with Peychauds bitters, demerara, orange peel, and Anchor Steam. Diners also have the option to pair it with an Umami Bomb Burger ($13) for just $20. The limited-time offer burger features a Niman Ranch Beef patty topped with Anchor Steam braised onions, soy emulsion, local cheddar, parmesan crisp, shredded lettuce, and roasted mushrooms.

Kale & Clover Now though March 31

All through the month of March, the new Kale & Clover: Mindful Kitchen in Scottsdale will be helping the neighborhood wake up and start the day. From 7 to 11 a.m. everyday this month, the restaurant is giving away a free, small coffee to customers with no purchase required. Kale & Clover sources its locally roasted coffee beans from Espresso Italia in Tempe, and also serves teas and espresso drinks. The deal runs all month long, limit one small coffee per day, per customer. Does not include espresso drinks or teas.
