Three-Course Special Sunset Menu at J&G Steakhouse
Today

Starting today, J&G Steakhouse will offer a three-course meal from its "Sunset Menu" for $40 per diner. The menu includes summer-inspired items such as Steamed Shrimp Salad, Slowly Cooked Salmon, and Raspberry Rose Pavlova. Diners can also enjoy a bottle of wine priced less than $100 for 50 percent off the original price. The menu will be available from 5 to 7 p.m. nightly through the end of August. More information, as well as the full Sunset Menu, can be found online

$20 Polenta Boards at Crudo
Wednesday, June 3

This week (and every week), guests at Crudo can enjoy a polenta board and a bottle of wine for $20 per person. Served in custom-made wooden vessels, the restaurant's polenta boards are served with various meats and vegetables and are accompanied by mason jars of housemade sauces and sides. The deal recurs each Wednesday throughout the summer — though this week, diners can start off their polenta board meal with a house Negroni made especially for Negroni Week. More information can be found on Crudo's Facebook page, and interested diners can view the full dinner menu here

National Donut Day
Friday, June 5

We don't usually get too excited about national food holidays, but this Friday several Valley eateries will be offering specials in celebration of our favorite deep-fried breakfast pastry. Jewel's Bakery and Cafe will have a buy-one-get-one-free promotion, including their Monte Cristo and Bubble Gum doughnuts, while Fractured Prune will also be participating in the "holiday" with a free "OC Sand" doughnut — honey glaze with cinnamon sugar dusting — with the purchase of a drink. Check in with other Valley donut joints like Rollover Donuts and Welcome Donuts + Chicken, who will also be partaking in the festivities.
