T. Cook’s 20th Anniversary Party

T. Cook’s has been in business for 20 years, and the restaurant at Royal Palms Resort & Spa in Phoenix is celebrating with an anniversary party on Tuesday, May 9, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Guests can enjoy three stations serving paella, lobster tortellini, and cream cheese crème brulee — all considered to be some of the most memorable dishes in the restaurant’s history. T. Cook's also will serve passed hors d'oeuvres, signature cocktails, wine, and champagne. Tickets cost $59 per person. Food and alcohol are included. Tickets are expected to sell out. ameriCAN Canned Craft Beer Festival

For a celebration of all things canned craft beer, head over to Margaret T. Hance Park in downtown Phoenix on Saturday for the ameriCAN Canned Craft Beer Festival. Festival-goers can try more than 250 canned craft beers from more than 100 local and national breweries. Local spots include Phoenix Ale Brewery, SanTan Brewing Company, and Uncle Bear's Brewery. You also can enjoy food from the following places: Two Fat Guys Grilled Cheese, Tom’s BBQ, Simon’s Hot Dogs, El Jefe Tacos, and HopDoddy Burgers. General admission tickets cost $35 online and $45 the day of. Tickets include a souvenir 4-ounce can and 20 beer samples from participating breweries. Free Coffee for Mom at Press Coffee

We've already told you about the different restaurants serving up special meals for Mother's Day, but if your mom would prefer a cup of coffee, consider heading to Press Coffee, where moms can score a free cup of java. On Sunday, May 14, mothers can come into Press’s Scottsdale, Tempe, or Chandler locations and receive a free small hot drip coffee or a small cold brew coffee. No proof of motherhood required, just identify yourself to the barista when ordering. The offer is good all day and will work at the Tempe, Scottsdale Quarter, and Chandler locations. New Brunch at Mora Italian

Mora Italian in Phoenix has started serving brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Guests can dig into plates including baked eggs with semolina pudding, sausage, and porcini ragu and the chef’s take on French toast featuring blackberry stufato, goat’s milk crema, and almonds.
