Just so you don’t have to frantically Google it, Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 14. That means between now and then you’ll need a card, a gift — and maybe a reservation. We all know these holidays rely heavily on family meals, and that can mean anything from a mimosa-fueled brunch to a thoughtful dinner.

A dozen Valley restaurants are ready to provide the perfect atmosphere to properly praise the mother, mothers, or motherly figure in your life (hey, it’s 2017). Here is your restaurant guide to treating Mom to a spread on Mother’s Day. Make your reservations now.

Mother’s Day Brunch at Bodega 13 – the international-style tapas restaurant in the La Mirada Shopping Center – brings stations for salads, omelets, dessert, and carved protein like prime New York strip and smoked turkey. There’s also grilled salmon, lemon chicken, sautéed vegetables, and garlic mashed potatoes – all from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Price is $39.99 for adults, $14.99 for kids 12 and under, and free for kids under 7. CHAR Kitchen + Bar

Scottsdale’s CHAR Kitchen + Bar celebrates Mother’s Day with a brunch menu, the entire lunch menu, and morning-time drinks like $7 Bloody Marys, $5 mimosas, and $5 “Mom”osas – your typical mimosa made with lemonade and fresh raspberries. The brunch menu includes egg dishes, omelets, griddle options like the Famous Challah French Toast, and specialty entrees like the lemon curd and honey whipped ricotta French toast and the Andalusia rib eye. Flourish has a Mother's Day Champagne Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at CopperWynd Resort & Club.

Join the Mother's Day Champagne Brunch at Flourish, found at the CopperWynd Resort & Club, so Mom may receive her complimentary glass of champagne. You can choose from three dining experiences for Mother’s Day at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. Early risers can head to MERITAGE, an urban tavern, for the Sunrise Breakfast Buffet from 6:30 to 11 a.m. There’s house-smoked salmon, omelet stations, and freshly baked breakfast breads for $28 – $10 for kids 4 to 12. Next, Stonegrill hosts the Brunch Experience from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., complete with carving stations, lobster and shrimp cioppino, an assortment of sides like Yukon potato puree, and dark and white chocolate fountains. Cost is $79 ($39 for kids 4 to 12), and mimosas and Bloody Marys are $8 a pop. Back at MERITAGE, the special dinner runs from 4 to 9 p.m. (from May 12 to 14), and offers the regular dinner menu and holiday items like baked Brie, braised lamb shank, and a manjari chocolate brulee tart. This Old Town Scottsdale Italian restaurant is offering a Mother’s Day special from noon to 3 p.m. Marcellino Ristorante is offering the Tagiolini Mare e Monte, long delicate pasta, sautéed in tomato sauce with tailed shrimp and mushrooms, for $23.95 – and mom gets a complimentary tiramisu with purchase of entrée.
