Given that tonight is the start of her now-infamous restaurant's "Grand Re-Opening," not to mention the seemingly endless parade of what-the-fucks that have unfolded in the past few weeks (See: Kitchen Nightmares season finale and most epic online breakdown in history), it would appear Amy Bouzaglo of Amy's Baking Company has her hands full of problems.

But Chow Bella has learned that Samy Bouzaglo, Amy's hot-tempered husband, is dealing with a bit of a mess as well. Possibly a bigger one.
Chow Bella has learned that Samy Bouzaglo, an Israeli emigre, is a client of immigration attorney David Asser (of Asser Law Group P.C. in Phoenix), who is representing Bouzaglo in what Asser describes as "immigration court proceedings."
Asser has declined to say more on the subject without Bouzaglo's consent.
Amber Cargile, a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman, also declined comment.
The Republic reports Asser said Samy's possible deportation had nothing to do with Kitchen Nightmares, that Samy is an Israeli citizen and was born in Morocco, and that the case case to revoke his client's residency status started two years ago and was the subject of a removal hearing Monday.
The Republic goes on to say that on Tuesday, Samy and Amy talked about their past records (Amy pleaded guilty to bank fraud in 2003 and served 14 months in federal prison after attempting to open a line of credit using someone else's Social Security number) and indicated Samy had served time in prison before immigrating to the United States 13 years ago.
In a phone interview with the Republic, Samy said he "could not talk about any past records but added he has not had any problems since immigrating to the U.S." and that "issues surrounding his immigration status were "a sensitive subject."
Currently, the Republic reports, "Amy, 40, and Samy, 63, live in Gold Canyon. Before coming to Arizona, they lived in Las Vegas. Amy also lived in Colorado and California."
